Cammei

The cameo is a jewel made through the engraving of a shell.

These shells of the Cassis family present the surface made up of two distinct color layers; this makes possible to clearly isolate the raised figure from the bottom.

Our cameos are finely finished by hand by master craftsmen from southern Italy. Inserted in frames, 18 kt gold or silver.
